Job summary

Intermountain Health Riverton Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with a focus on teamwork and safety in a high-acuity setting.

The role requires current RN licensure, BLS, and a BSN or progress toward BSN with a stated preference for BSN completion by 2025. Expect 36 hours per week with full benefits and a fast-paced environment in Riverton, UT.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice. Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment.
• RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their BSN within four (4) years of their hire date.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Education must be obtained from an accredited institution.
• BSN requirement as of 4/27/2025 update; prior hires may be held to earlier requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and gather information across physical, social, and psychological domains.
• Collaboratively develop individualized plan of care with patient and family involvement.
• Coordinate and delegate to interdisciplinary care team to implement care.
• Evaluate patient responses and revise care plans as needed.
• Ensure documentation complies with legal and regulatory standards.
