Job summary

Intermountain Health Riverton Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver direct patient care in the Emergency Department. This full-time role offers a 36-hour workweek with variable shifts and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice; compact licenses must be transferred within 60 days of start.
• RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their BSN within four years of hire date.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Assess: Performs appropriate assessment of physical, social, and psychological status and coordinates with interdisciplinary team.
• Plan: Develops an individualized plan of care with patient and family involvement and education.
• Implement: Directs the care team, delegates and coordinates care per plan and maintains documentation.
• Evaluate: Reassesses patient progress, revises the plan as needed and documents outcomes.
• Professionalism: Upholds legal/ethical standards, valid licensure, and timely documentation.
