Job summary

Union General Hospital in Blairsville, GA is seeking an RN for the Emergency Room on a full-time basis. The role requires active RN licensure in Georgia or a compact state, current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, and ER experience preferred.

You will coordinate a shift, supervise LPNs and CNAs, and collaborate with the care team to ensure patient safety and high-quality care. Minimum qualifications include an Associate Nursing Degree, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license in GA or compact RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS required or within 90 days of hire.
• TNCC and ENPC preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Minimum 1 year ER nursing experience; ER experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care promoting safety and well-being.
• Make staff assignments when serving as Charge Nurse.
• Provide guidance to LPNs, CNAs and non-licensed staff.
• Coordinate shift operations on the nursing unit under the Nurse Manager.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs.
