Job summary
Penn Medicine Princeton Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department in Plainsboro, NJ. This is a part-time 3:00 pm - 3:00 am shift opportunity, 24 hours per week.
The RN will be responsible for treating patients with medical problems that cannot wait for a regular doctor, establishing a therapeutic relationship, and coordinating care across the ED team. Requires NJ RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, BSN (or in pursuit), and at least 15 months of recent nursing experience.
Qualifications
- Active NJ Registered Nurse License (Required)
- Basic Life Saving (BLS) Certification (Required)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification (Required)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification (Required)
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN - required or at least in pursuit
Responsibilities
- Provide care to ED patients with medical problems that cannot wait for a regular doctor.
- Establish a therapeutic relationship and an individualized plan of care; communicate plan to collaborators.
- Administer medications, monitor patient condition and intervene as needed.
- Assist with ED procedures and support comprehensive care delivery.
