Job summary

Penn Medicine Princeton Health in Plainsboro, NJ seeks a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. The full-time position runs 11:00 am–11:00 pm, totaling 36 hours weekly, with 2 weekends per month and rotating holidays.

You will care for patients with urgent and life-threatening conditions, develop an individualized plan, coordinate with the care team, perform procedures, and document in the EMR to ensure seamless care transitions.

Qualifications

• Active NJ Registered Nurse License required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• BSN degree required or in progress
• Minimum 15 months of nursing experience in ED or similar setting

Responsibilities

• Treat patients with medical emergencies in the ED.
• Develop individualized care plans and coordinate with the care team.
• Deliver therapies, administer medications, and perform procedures as needed.
• Prepare for operating room and STEMI care when applicable.
• Maintain safe clinical documentation in the EMR and ensure continuity of care across shifts.
