Job summary

TalentBurst in Baton Rouge, LA seeks an RN - ER to join the Emergency Department on a 13-week, onsite contract. Day shift, 12 hours per day, 3 days per week, with a weekly stipend and hourly base pay.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active RN license in the state, BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI, and at least two years of ER experience. You will provide patient care, collaborate with the care team, and adhere to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Preferred - Bachelor s degree in nursing.
• Current RN license in state of practice.
• 2 years of ER experience preferred.
• Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI certifications.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to deliver patient care.
• Assesses learning needs and educates patients and families.
• Leads the nursing team and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team.
• Uses data to evaluate care and drive improvements.
• Adapts care to patient population and maintains privacy and safety.
