Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a registered nurse specialized in emergency care for a 13-week ER assignment in Louisiana. The RN will work day shifts (3x12h) with a 12-hour shift length, and contribute to ED operations with trauma care and rapid patient assessment.

The role requires current ER nursing experience, an active RN license (compact or state), and certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI (on-site). Holiday rotations apply; travel nurses welcome.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years ER nursing experience.
• Compact or state nursing license required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI certifications (CPI on site) required or obtainable on assignment.
• Willing to work holidays: Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s.
• Travel nurses welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care in the ED and manage high-acuity patients.
• Administer emergency medications and start IVs.
• Monitor patient status and respond to rapidly changing conditions.
• Coordinate with the Emergency Team during major events.
• Ensure up-to-date certifications and licensing before starting.
