Job summary

Frankfort Regional Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks an RN for Emergency Department duties. You will assess patients, coordinate care with physicians and the multidisciplinary team, and support families with physical and psychological needs.

Responsibilities include monitoring and documenting patient status, ordering tests, and applying the nursing process to deliver timely, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an RN in Kentucky or a compact state.
• BLS certification active and in good standing.
• ACLS and PALS within 1 year of hire.
• CPI training within 6 months of employment.
• Minimum 1 year ER RN experience for part-time roles.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, record, and report patient symptoms and changes.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests.
• Apply nursing process to plan and deliver care for varied ages.
• Support hospital customer service initiatives.
• Perform technical skills and nursing procedures as required.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Registered nursesprovideand coordinate care for patients. The Registered nurseis responsible forcollaborating withphysicians and multidisciplinary team members toprovidephysical and psychological support to patients and their families.

Daily responsibilities of the Registered nurse include but are not limitedtoassessments and reassessments, developing individualized plans of care, medication administration, documentation, education, proper maintenance ofequipment, and communication of patient needs.

What you will do in this role:

• You willmonitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions whilemaintainingaccurateand detailed records
• You will order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests toidentifyand assessthe patient'scondition.
• You willdemonstrateknowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served.
• You will promotehospital customer service initiatives.
• You willutilizethe nursingprocess for individual care to meetthe needsof patients.
• You willdemonstratethe abilityto perform technical skills and procedures.

What qualifications you will need:

• CurrentRN licensure by KY Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state
• CurrentBLS from the American Heart Association
• ACLS and PALS within 1 year of employment
• CPI within 6 months of employment
• 1 Year of ER RN experience required for part time
