Northwest Florida Community Hospital is seeking an Emergency Department RN for night shifts in Chipley, FL. You will perform rapid assessments, initiate emergency interventions, and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team. The role requires an active Florida RN license and BLS/ACLS/PALS.

Qualifications

• Current, active Florida RN license.
• Minimum of 1 year of emergency or acute care experience preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS required or within timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and triage using established protocols (e.g., ESI).
• Initiate and manage emergency nursing interventions based on patient condition and physician orders.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with hospital policies and scope of practice.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses, updating care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Provide rapid response and stabilization for critically ill or injured patients.
• Document all patient care accurately and timely in the EMR.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
