Job summary

Endeavor Health's Glenview-area hospital is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse for night shift. The position offers 36 hours per week, 7p-7a with rotating weekends and holidays, in a Magnet-designated system focused on quality and patient safety.

You will provide care across all patient populations, apply the nursing process, and ensure regulatory compliance while guiding other nursing staff. A BSN is preferred and IL licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required.
• BSN degree preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required.
• Minimum 1 year hospital nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to all patient populations in the department.
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Maintain regulatory compliance in individual practice.
• Assume responsibility, accountability and authority for outcomes of nursing care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering patient care.
• Contribute to safety outcomes and promote high quality patient experience.
