Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department at Skokie Hospital. The night shift (7pm–7am), full-time, 36 hours weekly, offers opportunities to provide direct patient care across populations and to lead clinical teammates.

You will apply the nursing process, maintain regulatory compliance, and contribute to a safe, high-quality patient experience while supporting hospital goals and professional growth within a Magnet-recognized system.

Qualifications

• Current professional Nursing Licensure in IL required.
• BSN degree preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification for Healthcare Provider required.
• Minimum 1 year hospital nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to all patient populations in the department.
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Maintain regulatory compliance in individual practice.
• Assume responsibility, accountability and authority for outcomes of nursing care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering patient care.
• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience.
