Job summary

Wellstar Health Systems is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on a full-time night shift in Georgia. The RN will work within an interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, evidence-based, patient-centered care aligned with Wellstar standards.

The role requires an RN license in Georgia, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and ACLS, with a minimum of five years’ emergency department experience. Associates or Diploma in Nursing are required, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in Georgia per the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act
• Requires BLS, RN license, PALS, TNCC, ACLS certifications as listed
• Minimum 5 years of RN experience in emergency/acute care

Responsibilities

• Perform the nursing process with evidence-based practice and individualized care.
• Provide patient-centered care reflecting diverse populations and needs.
• Partner with patients and families using appropriate teaching and clear communication.
• Coordinate safe, high-quality care through interdisciplinary teamwork and documentation.
