Job summary

The RN Clinical Nurse Emergency Department at Wellstar Health System is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team delivering high-quality, safe patient care in a fast-paced ED setting.

This role requires current RN licensure in Georgia, minimum 5 years of RN experience, and certifications including BLS, PALS, TNCC, ACLS; Bachelor's preferred. Excellent communication and critical thinking are essential, with a commitment to evidence-based practice and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Associates Nursing or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelor's in Nursing preferred.
• All required licenses and certifications must be obtained upon hire.
• Minimum 5 years RN experience required.
• English proficiency and strong communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform the nursing process with evidence-based practice to individualize care.
• Provide patient-centered care respecting cultural diversity.
• Coordinate care with patients and families and ensure clear communication.
• Collaborate interdisciplinary rounds and ensure timely documentation.
• Support performance improvement and shared governance in the unit.
