Wellington Regional Medical Center, part of Universal Health Services (UHS), is recruiting an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the full-time ER night shift at a new freestanding ER in West Palm Beach. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, stroke assessment, and high-quality care delivery within a nationwide UHS network.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• BSN preferred.
• Requires a minimum of 2 years emergency room experience.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS (current upon hire).
• TNCC (within 6 months of hire).
• Current Florida nursing license.
• Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies and philosophy.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Demonstrates stroke care standards and NIHSS in the ED and assists with telemedicine and thrombolytic therapy coordination.
• Maintains currency in stroke knowledge with NIHSS training and annual stroke training.
• Supports patient-centered care and service-excellence standards.
