Job summary

Stormont Vail Health in Topeka, KS is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a full-time, night shift role. This 36-hour week position requires current KS RN licensure, BLS within 90 days, and certifications such as PALS, ACLS, ENPC and TNCC within one year. A BSN is preferred.

You will provide comprehensive emergency care across all ages, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and uphold Stormont Vail’s standards for safety, quality, and patient advocacy.

Qualifications

• Must hold RN license in KS (KSBN) and be eligible to practice.
• BLS within 90 days of hire, depending on department.
• PN required certifications: PALS, ACLS, ENPC, TNCC within 90 days to one year.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collects data and information relative to the patient and setting.
• Analyzes assessment data to identify problems or risks.
• Identifies expected outcomes and develops a collaborative plan.
• Implements plan through coordination of care and promotes health.
