Job summary

Stormont Vail Health in Topeka, KS is seeking an Acute Care RN for the Intermediate Care unit on the 12 Hour Night shift. This role focuses on acutely ill adults who require high-intensity monitoring and rapid response.

BSN preferred; must hold KS RN license (or multistate). BLS within 90 days. The RN will collect data, assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, using evidence-based practices and fostering caring relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current KS RN license (or multistate license accepted for KS).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collects data and information relative to the patient, situation, or setting.
• Analyzes assessment data to identify actual or potential problems and issues.
• Identifies expected outcomes and develops a collaborative plan to achieve them.
• Implements the plan through coordinated care and promotes health and wellness.
• Evaluates progress toward goals and outcomes.
