Job summary

SGMC Health's Emergency Room seeks a Registered Nurse to provide patient care across all ages on our unit, coordinating plans of care with physicians and staff.

The role requires current GA RN licensure, CPR, and ACLS/PALS within the first year, with at least one year of related experience preferred. Night shift, full-time, main campus, dynamic team environment. We offer competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Georgia.
• CPR (C) certification required.
• ACLS and PALS within twelve months of hire.
• One year of related ER experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care through the nursing process for all age groups on the unit.
• Act as patient advocate.
• Provide patient education.
• Coordinate patient’s plan of care with physicians and other disciplines.
• Maintain an atmosphere aligned with SGMC Health values, policies and procedures.
