Job summary

Hospital Sisters Health System in O’Fallon, Illinois, seeks a Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department. The successful candidate will coordinate and perform hands-on acute patient care at the bedside within a fast-paced trauma-informed team.

This role requires an RN license in the state, with BSN preferred, and current BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP as per patient population. Night shift, 36 hours per week, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP are required based on patient population in the specialty area worked.
• Bachelor’s of science in nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform hands-on acute patient care at the bedside.
• Provide care in the Emergency Department setting.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.
