Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a registered nurse for night shift coverage in Clinton, MA. The role involves applying the nursing process across the patient care continuum from admission to discharge, with emphasis on assessments, care coordination, and discharge planning.

Shift is nights, 12 hours, with a 7p-730a schedule and holiday/weekend rotation. Current MA nursing licensure required; BLS is mandatory for all RNs, ACLS preferred where applicable.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration required.
• BLS certification required for every RN; ACLS if current for unit will be preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessment and reassessment per standard procedures.
• Coordinates and documents plan of care including discharge planning.
