Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Clinton, MA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. night shift at the Emergency/Acute care setting. The RN will plan, deliver and manage direct patient care using the nursing process while adhering to practice standards.

Must hold a Massachusetts RN license; BSN preferred. This non-exempt position requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, documentation in the electronic health record, and commitment to patient safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of a recognized school of Nursing.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Massachusetts RN License required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains patient assignments per unit guidelines and standards of practice.
• Uses nursing process for planning and delivering patient care.
• Communicates with patients and families using SBAR format.
• Acts as charge nurse as requested by nursing management.
• Documents assessments, plans of care, and responses to interventions.
