Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in the Charlotte, NC area. The role involves night shifts (3x12-hr) from 18:45 to 07:15 with every other weekend.

You will care for adult ED patients including STEMI, stroke, and LEVEL 2 trauma cases in a high-volume setting. Requirements include a minimum of 2 years nursing experience and active TNCC, ACLS, NIH, MOAB, and BLS certifications, plus IV start, triage, telemetry, and sedation skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Current TNCC, ACLS, NIH, MOAB, and BLS certifications.
• IV Start, Triage, Telemetry, and Conscious Sedation skills required.
• ENPC and trauma experience preferred.
• Experience in ED with high patient turnover (approximately 170 visits per day).

Responsibilities

• Perform triage and start IVs as required.
• Administer conscious sedation and manage critical patients.
• Coordinate care for medical boarders in the ED.
• Maintain patient documentation using EPIC charting system.
• Provide a safe and effective environment for trauma patients and other emergency cases.
