Job summary

IRMC is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for the Emergency Room to join our full-time, on-site team at IRMC Main Hospital in Indiana, PA. The role involves participating in interdisciplinary care, patient assessment, and delivering comprehensive nursing services in a fast-paced ER setting.

The ideal candidate will have an accredited LPN program credential, 1 year of medical-surgical experience preferred, and Pennsylvania LPN licensure with BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• 1 year of medical-surgical experience preferred.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 1 month of hire.
• Current LPN license in Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Active member of the interdisciplinary treatment team and collaborate on patient treatment plans.
• Observe and evaluate each patient and document observations.
• Provide the RN with relevant clinical information.
• Use nursing knowledge to provide direct patient care, observe, and document outcomes.
• Provide patient and family education.
• Work collaboratively as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
