Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a licensed practical nurse to provide direct patient care under the supervision of the registered nurse. You will support examinations, document findings, and assist with testing and procedures in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Responsibilities include preparing equipment, coordinating tests and authorizations, and ensuring accurate charting in EPIC. HIPAA compliance and attention to patient safety are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or multi-state licensure per eNLC.
• Basic knowledge of patient care and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Performs general nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Assists with preparation of equipment and supports the clinical provider
• Collects assessment data and documents clinical information in patient records.
• Orders/assists with diagnostic tests and reviews results as directed by the clinician.
• Schedules procedures and coordinates authorizations; assists with basic medical tasks.
• Other duties as assigned or requested.
