Qualifikationen

• Education: Certificate Program Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Credential: BLS; Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Experience: 2 years ED experience as a Tech/LPN; or 2 years of LPN with medication administration experience; Preferred: 4 years ED experience.

Aufgaben

• Read and interpret doctors’ orders and perform focal assessments.
• Provide basic nursing care including positioning, turning, and hygiene assistance.
• Deliver patient education and document care as required.
• Prepare and administer oral medications as ordered by the physician.
• Assist with minor procedures and venipuncture.
• Transport patients and assist with mobility.
• Maintain clinical records and report changes in condition.
