Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a part-time position in our Emergency Department, a fast-paced, interdisciplinary team focused on promoting and restoring health. The LPN provides nursing care under the direction of an RN or physician, practicing within the NY Nurse Practice Act and with ongoing orientation and continuing education.

In this role you will perform therapeutic nursing interventions, medication administration after completing the required

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited LPN program and active NY licensure.
• Ability to obtain licensure if not currently licensed.
• Experience in acute care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Therapeutic nursing interventions under RN supervision.
• Administer medications after completion of medication course.
• Document care using the EPIC system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team of nurses, social work, care managers, nutrition, Rehab and pharmacy.
