Job summary

Hospitality Health ER is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support laboratory operations within our freestanding emergency room environment. You will perform testing, ensure accurate results, and assist with specimen collection while complying with policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare setting with a patient-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Laboratory Science is required.
• LMT/MLT certification is strongly preferred.
• Experience in hospital lab or ER setting is desirable.
• Knowledge of QA/QC and regulatory requirements is required.
• Strong organization and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing and report results accurately.
• Identify patients and label specimens per protocols.
• Collect and process specimens with correct identifiers.
• Prepare specimens for send-out testing to reference labs.
• Maintain safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Run and document QC procedures and calibrate equipment.
• Maintain lab inventory and restock supplies as needed.
• Communicate with patients, visitors, and staff to support care.
• Ensure documentation is inspection-ready and organized.
