You’ll triage, start IVs, assist with chest tube insertions, and work with an experienced clinical team to deliver stabilizing care while prioritizing patients by acuity. The role emphasizes teamwork, professionalism, critical thinking, and willingness to take on patient experience initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited professional nursing education program.
• Registered Nurse licensed by the state of Minnesota.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC).

Responsibilities

• Use emergency triage protocol to intake, discharge or admit patients.
• Deliver stabilizing care to emergency patients as part of the ER team.
• Provide culturally sensitive patient care and document care plans.
• Engage in patient experience initiatives and mentoring.
