Job summary

EvergreenHealth is seeking an experienced RN to join the Nursing Resources Float Pool Team in Kirkland, WA. Two years of Emergency Room or Intensive Care nursing experience is required, with RN licensure in WA and current ACLS/BLS.

The role features a wage range and relocation assistance, plus opportunities for BSN/MSN pay enhancements. As part of the Float Pool, you will provide direct patient care, assess needs, educate patients and families, and coordinate with physicians and the care team to

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program (Diploma or ADN) is required.
• Minimum of two years of Emergency or Intensive Care experience.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington.
• Current AHA BLS certification by start date.
• Current AHA ACLS certification by start date.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care and acts as a patient advocate.
• Assesses nursing needs of an assigned group of patients.
• Coordinates education for patient and family/significant others.
• Implements and evaluates patient care with family involvement.
• Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary team on care plans.
• Communicates information to supervisor promptly.
• Documents changes in patient condition and notifies supervisor/physician.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
