Job summary

MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, WA, seeks an experienced RN for the ICU Float Pool, with nights and self-scheduling. This role provides diverse ICU coverage across units, enhancing critical care skills and earning potential.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license in WA (MLS accepted), with BSN preferred, BLS current, and ACLS/PALS/NALS or TNCC/NRP certifications as required. Relocation and sign-on bonuses are available where eligible.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS) is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current BLS Certification required.
• ACLS or NALS or PALS or TNCC or NRP certification, as required by facility or department.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction.
• Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff and members of the health care team.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse backgrounds.
