Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of medical clerical experience, preferably in a hospital or physician office.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card at hire for applicable facilities and maintain it.

Responsibilities

• Perform receptionist/clerical duties to support department operations.
• Process patient admissions and record bed assignments in the system.
• Maintain complete patient records including admissions, transfers, discharges, progress notes.
• Coordinate patient appointments and prepare discharges.
• Maintain supplies and requisition forms; reconcile deliveries.
• Monitor and track use of equipment (ID scanners, laptops) and ensure they are serviceable.
