Job summary

Jackson Health System in Miami is seeking an experienced Clinical Staff Nurse to join the new systemwide Emergency Department float team. This per diem role covers nights and may rotate across campuses to meet operational needs.

You will perform nursing assessments, coordinate care with physicians, document care, manage narcotics and equipment, and participate in patient teaching, with emphasis on safety, HIPAA, and CARE values.

Qualifications

• In-state RN license required.
• Associate degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 2 years ED experience encouraged.
• Per diem night shifts with rotation across campuses.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement patient care with physicians and staff.
• Document nursing care, plans, and patient observations.
• Maintain narcotics and emergency equipment records.
• Adhere to HIPAA, CARE values, and unit policies.
• Provide safe, evidence-based care and patient teaching.
