Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
• BSN degree is preferred.
• Valid Florida RN license required.
• BLS/ACLS life support certifications required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Implements and coordinates the delivery of care in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare staff.
• Uses the nursing process (assess–plan–implement–evaluate) to deliver care.
• Documents all pertinent information regarding nursing care and care plans.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance at all times.
• Provides guidance to LPNs and CNAs; may orient new staff.
• Conducts rounds to ensure continuity of care.
