Job summary

Wellington Regional Medical Center in Westlake, FL is seeking a CT Technologist for the Free Standing ED. The role is full-time, 36 hours per week with a day shift (Sun, Mon, Tue 7am-7:30pm) including on-call and holidays.

Qualifications

Florida license current.
ARRT registry in Radiology and CT current.
BLS certification through AHA.
Proficient with computer systems and imaging software.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Under the direct supervision of the Radiologist and Department Manager, delivers CT imaging for patients of all ages.
Performs diagnostic CT procedures and related tasks to aid diagnosis and treatment.
Ensures stroke alert procedures are followed and CT scanner is available for head CTs as needed.
Maintains currency in stroke knowledge with annual training.
May be required to be on-call and arrive within 30 minutes of notification.
Cross-train and float to other areas as needed to meet departmental needs.
