Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a Washington State LVT license or be able to obtain licensure before starting.
• Graduation from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
• Minimum of five years of veterinary clinical experience, including emergency medicine.
• Excellent communication, organizational, conflict-resolution, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible, approachable leadership to foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable team culture.
• Deliver real-time coaching, mentorship, recognition, and constructive feedback to support performance and growth.
• Address performance concerns and interpersonal conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing development of ECC team members.
• Maintain active presence on the clinical floor, providing hands-on support during high volumes and complex cases.
• Develop, maintain, and publish ECC staff schedules aligned with departmental needs on a quarterly basis.
• Review and approve timesheets, monitor attendance, and address scheduling or payroll concerns.
