Job summary
Norman Regional Health System is seeking a pharmacist to participate in clinical pharmacy services, support distributive pharmacy operations, and ensure optimal pharmaceutical care for patients daily. The role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining clinical and distributive processes and programs that promote safe, cost-effective drug therapies for all age groups.
Required is a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy and Oklahoma pharmacist licensure; ASHP PGY1 residency preceptorship is
Qualifications
- Pharmacist licensure in good standing with OK State Board of Pharmacy
- Preceptor license required upon hire
- ASHP PGY1 residency preceptorship encouraged
- Board certification in related practice area encouraged
Responsibilities
- Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
- Participate in departmental targeted clinical programs as assigned.
- Process orders and dispense medications according to established policies, procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to the educational goals of the department.
- Enhance the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes, to promote patient safety and improve outcomes.
