Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is hiring a clinical pharmacist responsible for ensuring optimal pharmaceutical care to patients and supporting distributive pharmacy services. The role emphasizes development and maintenance of clinical programs, and adherence to regulatory requirements.

The candidate should have a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, with preferred ASHP PGY1 residency or hospital-based experience. Licensure in good standing and potential board certification are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Education requirement: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Experience preferred: ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent, hospital clinical experience.
• Licensure: Pharmacist license in good standing; preceptor license; board certification encouraged.
• Strong commitment to safe, cost-effective therapies and patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Participate in departmental clinical programs and educational goals.
• Process orders and dispense according to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Improve accuracy and efficiency of pharmacy processes to promote patient safety.
