Norman Regional Health System is seeking a pharmacist to participate in clinical and distributive pharmacy services, ensuring safe, cost-effective therapies for all patients. The role supports program development, regulatory compliance, and education within a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm D degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent (preferred).
• Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting.
• Licensed pharmacist in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy.
• Maintain preceptor license with the OK State Board of Pharmacy upon hire.
• Achieve/maintain ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship upon hire.
• Board-certification in related practice area encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Ensures age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Participates in departmental targeted clinical programs as assigned.
• Process orders and dispense medications according to policies, procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Administer the ACGME accreditation and reporting requirements to external agencies.
• Contribute to the educational goals of the department.
• Enhance the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes, to promote patient safety and improve outcomes.
