Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
• One (1) year of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Education: identify learning needs and use appropriate materials.
• Evaluation of care: assist in revising plans and communicating outcomes.
• Implementation: provide care for complex patients and coordinate with team.
• Leadership: help set unit goals and promote collaboration and safety.
• Patient assessment: determine priorities and plan discharge needs.
• Planning: collaborate with family, resources and culture as needed.
