Job summary

Barstow Community Hospital is seeking an experienced RN Charge Nurse for the Emergency Department on the night shift. You will be responsible for planning, directing, and delivering nursing care during your shift, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes and safe resource use.

The role requires 2 years of ER nursing experience, an Associate's degree or higher in Nursing, and active certifications (C-ARC-PALS, BLS, ALS). This is a full-time, on-site position at Barstow, CA 92311.

Qualifications

• Associates or better in Nursing.
• High School or better.
• 2 years ER nursing experience.
• C-ARC-PALS, C-ARC-BLS, C-ARC-ALS required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, assess, and provide nursing care on assigned shift.
• Direct the activities of licensed and non-licensed care givers and support staff.
• Utilize delegation and supervision to ensure optimal patient care and appropriate use of resources.
• Complete additional assignments as assigned.
