NeighborHealth in East Boston is seeking an RN to lead patient care in the Emergency Department during the 7pm-7am night shift. The role focuses on triage, nursing care for all ages, and coordinating lab and x-ray results.

Accurate documentation and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team are essential. The ideal candidate holds an accredited nursing degree, MA RN license, and ACLS/PALS certifications, with 1+ year of RN critical care or 3+ years in Med/Surg/ED.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing strongly preferred.
• MA RN License required.
• Current ACLS and PALS Certification required.
• Minimum of one year RN critical care experience or three years in Med/Surg or Emergency.

Responsabilités

• Assess the health status of individuals and detect changes to take necessary actions.
• Document care accurately and timely in the patient record.
• Triage patients and assign acuity based on standards of care and department policy.
• Safely administers medications, tests, and treatments as ordered.
• Assist with patient discharge planning, transfers, and coordination of outpatient testing.
