Job summary

The RN will participate in emergency services, administer medications, document care, and support patients and families through pre-discharge planning and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required.
• Current RN license and Basic Life Support required.
• Strong knowledge of the nursing process and clinical nursing practices.
• Ability to perform thorough patient assessments and communicate findings effectively.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with organizational policies and the nursing process.
• Assists physicians during procedures within documented competency and skill level.
• Documents patient care and education thoroughly in the medical record.
• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in life-saving interventions (CPR, code team activities).
• Monitors and operates medical equipment (IV pumps, monitors, ventilators) as needed.
• Engages in performance improvement initiatives and audits to enhance patient outcomes.
