Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care in the ED under supervision, performing clinical interventions and procedures.
• Assists with patient transport to units, procedures, or discharge destinations, ensuring safety and timeliness.
• Maintains a clean, organized environment; restocks supplies; ensures equipment is operational and infection control standards are met.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and care team; reports changes promptly.
• Documents patient care activities accurately in the EMR system.
• Responds to emergencies promptly, assisting the care team with necessary tasks to ensure patient safety.
• Uses PPE and adheres to safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and self.
• Performs clerical tasks and supports administrative duties as needed.
• Collaborates with ancillary services and external agencies to facilitate seamless patient care.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance; complies with all policies.
