Capital Health is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to support patient care under RN supervision. You will assist with daily hygiene, safety protocols, and basic clinical tasks, contributing to a safe, compassionate environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, BLS certification, and ability to work 8-hour shifts. Training opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package are included.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalency.
• Experience: One year of EMT, military medic, PCA in acute care or two clinical nursing semesters.
• Other Credentials: AHA BLS; non-licensed must obtain before end of orientation.
• Knowledge and Skills: Proficient in English, verbal and written communication.
• Special Training: CNA certification preferred or Capital Health UAP Training within 90 days.
• Usual Work Day: 8 Hours

Responsabilités

• Provides safety aspects of patient care under RN guidance.
• Assists with personal care and daily hygiene tasks.
• Applies basic dressings and devices under supervision.
• Collects specimens and assists with monitoring and documentation.
• Stocks supplies and maintains a clean, organized unit.
• Assists with CPR and post-mortem care as directed.
