Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis Critical Care Medicine Fellowship is hiring a Patient Care Technician (UAP) to assist in individualized patient care under supervision. The role emphasizes teamwork, following clinical procedures, and performing non-clinical tasks essential to patient care.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, with CNA/CPCT preferred. BLS is required within one month of hire, and a 175-hour training program will be provided within 90 days of hire to complete state

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or enrolled in a healthcare career program.
• Experience: None required.
• BLS certification within one month of hire.
• Complete PCT competencies within 3 months of hire.
• Minimum physical requirements including ability to lift 50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods.
