Job summary

OU Health is seeking a Care Team Associate for the Adult Emergency Department on a part-time days schedule. Under RN supervision, the role performs routine patient care tasks, monitors vitals, and supports the care plan while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Required HS Diploma or GED with current BLS from the American Heart Association and CPCT/PCTC/AUA certification. No experience required; training provided on-site as needed.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Basic nursing techniques and patient care knowledge.
• CPCT/PCTC/AUA certification or eligibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient status under RN supervision and support plan of care.
• Carry out physician and nursing orders within scope.
• Record vitals and basic measurements (BP, temp, pulse, weight).
• Perform blood glucose monitoring and telemetry setup as needed.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Maintain clean patient rooms and restock supplies.
