Job summary

Riverside Health System seeks an experienced RN for the Emergency Services Complex in Hampton, VA. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care under supervision of the Nurse Manager and Director, and supervise non-professional staff to ensure safe, high-quality care.

The role requires critical thinking, effective communication, and timely decision-making in fast-paced environments; 1 year of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• RN must assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for assigned patients.
• CPR/BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• First Aid certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Delegate and prioritize tasks to ensure quality patient care.
• Recognize and respond to emergency situations in the ED.
• Complete clinical documentation per RHS standards.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team in Behavioral Health ED.
