Job summary

Qualifications

• Nursing program graduate; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1 year nursing experience in a behavioral health setting preferred.
• 2 years Registered Nursing experience preferred.
• Virginia RN license required.
• CPR/BLS certification required upon hire.
• ACLS provider certification preferred for new hires (within 180 days).
• Specialty certification in field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient clinical and psychosocial needs and apply standards of practice.
• Facilitate patient throughput while delivering ethical, competent care.
• Educate patients and families; ensure understanding and discharge instructions.
• Complete required clinical and quality documentation per RHS standards.

• Recognize and respond to emergency situations; collaborate with the team.
