Job summary

Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NH seeks an RN Behavioral Health in the Emergency Department to provide safe, patient-centered care under hospital standards. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care with an interdisciplinary team to meet behavioral health needs.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, plan development, medication administration and education, with emphasis on crisis intervention and safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in New Hampshire or a compact state.
• Active BLS certification.
• Active Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Certification within 90 days.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient and family status and discharge needs.
• Develop and document an individualized care plan with patient input.
• Administer medications and monitor for effects.
• Provide patient and family education.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for care planning.
