Job summary
MUSC Health is seeking a skilled PRN Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their team of Advanced Practice Providers, delivering diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive care in the Pee Dee community.
Qualified candidates will hold SC licensure or eligibility, possess ACLS, and have at least 2 years of Emergency Room experience as a PA or NP. The role supports three Pee Dee locations and offers opportunities to precept students and collaborate with physicians.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program with current licensure or eligibility for licensure in South Carolina.
- FNP with current Emergency Room Nurse Practitioner (ENP) Certification
- At least 2 years of Emergency Room experience as a PA or NP
- License by the South Carolina Board of Medical Examiners or as a Nurse Practitioner
- ACLS certification required by start date
- APRn or PA must maintain licenses, certifications, and CME/CE as required by policy
- DHEC and DEA license
Responsibilities
- Evaluates, treats, and documents based on history, exam, and diagnostic results
- Initiates referrals and consults with attending or collaborating physicians
- Documents and bills for direct care provided
- Potential to precept students and mentor new team members
- Credentialed for all Pee Dee locations (Florence, Marion, Black River)
