Job summary

MUSC Health - PeeDee Division in Florence, SC is seeking Emergency Medicine APPs (PA/NP) to provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department. This role supports a busy ED with diverse patient populations and requires appropriate licensure or eligibility.

Preferred qualifications include PA or APRN training with ENP certification; at least 2 years of ED experience for PAs or NPs. Employment is non-exempt with 40 hours per week and variable shifts.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program and current licensure or eligibility as a PA.
• Or completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program and current licensure or eligibility as an APRN (FNP preferred).

Responsibilities

• Take comprehensive history and perform physical examinations.
• Evaluate and treat based on history, exam, tests and guidelines.
• Perform procedures listed under clinical privileges (e.g., suturing, wound care, catheterization, bedside procedures).
• Initiate referrals and coordinate with supervising/collaborating physician.
• Maintain licenses, certifications and continuing education as required.
